A very special event honoring Fayette County Women who have been nominated by their organizations for "2012's Outstanding Women of Fayette County".
Save the Date for a Tribute to Women......
Our 2012 Tribute to Women Brunch will be held Tuesday, July 17. Nominations are now being accepteded until the deadline of June 1, 2012.
Nominees must reside in the county and be recognized by their organization for their noteworthy volunteer service to the community. All organizations, clubs, churches and schools are invited to nominate up to four outstanding women. This is a special opportunity for organizations across the county to say "thank you" to women who have given so much. All honorees will be recognized in the event program and publicity announcements.
The nominating organization or group must complete an application form which details their nominee's accomplishments. A panel of judges, made up of women from across the County, will review the applications and select the finalists.
Proceeds from the brunch benefit FCRW programs, including our Literacy Progam which annually provides individual dictionaries for all Fayette County third graders and our Scholarship Program providing a $250.00 scholarship to a graduating Senior girl from each of the five Fayette County High Schools. Tribute to Women brunch tickets will be available for sale this Spring. Checks should be made payable to Fayette County Republican Women and sent to our Treasurer, Nancy Grizzaffi, P.O. Box 744, La Grange, TX 78945. FCRW members: Seating will be pre-assigned on a first-come basis, so please notify Nancy as soon as you sell a ticket, providing the attendee’s NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE, EMAIL, and OCCUPATION. Since we are a PAC, this information is required by the Texas Ethics Commission.
